Our Story

As an integrated conservation impact model, we recognise our dependence on healthy oceans and value the relationship we have with the Indian Ocean.

This is our fifth year of participation in Tusk’s Wildlife Ranger Challenge, and on Saturday 19th September, our staff, neighbours and guests from around the world will be walking and running through the reserve while fundraising for the Oceans Without Borders Community & Conservation Marine Rangers.

Community & Conservation

Jul 24, 2026, 11:11:08 AM

The Oceans Without Borders Community and Conservation Marine Rangers are guides, researchers, educators and wildlife guardians working to protect healthy, biodiverse seascapes where nature and people may thrive. Their work spans marine research and monitoring, protecting endangered sea turtle nesting sites, engaging with local communities and government, and inspiring the next generation through education. Their dedication makes a lasting difference to communities and the natural world. As Zuka Private Game Reserve we are thrilled to host our fifth Wildlife Ranger Challenge, bringing together more than 250 staff, neighbours and guests from around the world, to walk, run, push up and sit up in support of Africa’s extraordinary wildlife ranger teams. Your donation is match funded through Tusk. These grants strengthen the vital work of Oceans Without Borders across the Indian Ocean and, importantly, this fundraising also makes its way to other wildlife rangers across Africa. Thank you for your kind support!
