Wildlife ACT - Wildlife Ranger Challenge 2026
Uniting To Support Africa’s Rangers #ForWildlifeRangers
About Wildlife ACT
Wildlife ACT is a registered non-profit conservation organisation based in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The organisation runs professional, science-led wildlife monitoring across under-resourced protected areas in South Africa and the Seychelles, working in close partnership with conservation authorities to support the recovery of Endangered and Priority species.
Wildlife ACT's field teams operate year-round, tracking species such as African Wild Dog, Black and White Rhinoceros, Cheetah, Lion, Leopard and Vultures using innovative tracking technology. This monitoring generates the real-time data that management authorities rely on to make informed decisions and respond rapidly to threats including poaching, poisoning, and snaring.
The organisation's work extends beyond individual species to the protected areas and communities that sustain them, supporting habitat protection, range expansion and community conservation initiatives across the region.
Every intervention is grounded in verified data and conducted in collaboration with reserve management, ensuring conservation action is both credible and lasting.
