Wild Impact Okavango Delta - Wildlife Ranger Challenge 2026

Wild Impact Okavango Delta 2026
My story
Wild Impact operates in the Okavango Delta, one of the world’s largest inland deltas, rich in wildlife, including elephants, lions, and hippos. Here, Wild Impact's Community and Conservation (C&C) Rangers work alongside Botswana’s Department of Wildlife and National Parks (DWNP) to protect biodiversity and support communities.
Community and Conservation Rangers deliver environmental education, manage human-wildlife conflict, and build climate resilience, while Botswana's Department of Wildlife and National Parks leads specialised anti-poaching efforts. This year they will participate in the Wildlife Ranger Challenge 2026 as one team!
The WRC has strengthened ranger welfare, improved monitoring, and raised vital funding. Support in 2026 will expand these benefits, enhancing training, resources, and long-term protection of ecosystems and communities.
Give today and the Scheinberg Relief Fund will match every dollar donated, amplifying your impact. Join us in speaking up #ForWildlifeRangers
