Our First Supporter: The First Step for Our Rangers

Sep 9, 2026, 5:34:33 PM

Every fundraising journey begins with a first step. For the Mara Elephant Project, that step has now been taken. We are incredibly grateful to have received our first donation to our Wildlife Ranger Challenge fundraising page from someone who chose to stand behind our Rangers and the work they do to protect wildlife across the Greater Mara Ecosystem. For us, this first contribution means more than the amount given. It is a reminder that the work happening on the ground matters and that there are people willing to stand with the men and women doing it. Behind Every Ranger Is a Commitment to Wildlife Our Rangers spend their days and nights on the ground protecting wildlife, responding to threats, supporting communities and helping safeguard the landscapes that make the Greater Mara one of the world's most important wildlife ecosystems. Their work is demanding. It takes courage, resilience and an extraordinary commitment to conservation. The Wildlife Ranger Challenge gives us an opportunity to celebrate these men and women and to invite more people to stand alongside them. Now, We Need You Our first supporter has shown us that this campaign can begin with one person. Now, we are asking others to take the next step. Will you stand with our Rangers? Whether through a donation or by sharing our fundraising page with someone who cares about wildlife, your support can help us move closer to our $5,000 fundraising goal and, just as importantly, help shine a light on the people working every day to protect wildlife. One person has taken the first step. We hope you will be next. Support the Mara Elephant Project in the Wildlife Ranger Challenge. Stand with our Rangers. Stand for wildlife. 🐘 Donate and stand with our Rangers: https://wildlife.rangerchallenge.org/campaigns/mara-elephant-project-2026
