Lion Landscapes Ol Jogi 2026
My story
Ol Jogi Conservancy is a 58,000-acre protected area in the heart of Kenya’s Laikipia landscape. Ol Jogi is dedicated to conserving wildlife, restoring habitats, supporting scientific research, and fostering coexistence between people and nature.
Home to one of Kenya’s largest populations of eastern black rhinos, along with Grevy’s zebra, African wild dogs, lions, elephants and a myriad of other species, Ol Jogi’s dedicated ranger team works around the clock to protect this remarkable landscape.
This year, Ol Jogi is proud to once again take part in the Tusk Wildlife Ranger Challenge as the Lion Landscapes – Ol Jogi Team. Our rangers have already begun training for the demanding 21 km race while carrying 22 kg, a challenge that reflects the endurance, resilience and determination required in their daily work.
Over the coming weeks, four rangers will be selected to represent Ol Jogi in the 2026 Challenge. By supporting our team, you are investing directly in the men and women who dedicate their lives to protecting wildlife, supporting local communities and securing the future of one of Africa’s most important conservation landscapes.
Every contribution, no matter the size, helps provide the equipment, training and resources our rangers need to continue this vital work. Thank you for standing behind our team as they prepare for the challenge ahead.
Give today and the Scheinberg Relief Fund will match every dollar donated, amplifying your impact. Join us in speaking up #ForWildlifeRangers
