Great Plains Zambezi - Wildlife Ranger Challenge 2026
Great Plains Zambezi team is made up of male and female Wildlife Rangers, dedicated to protecting the critical landscape of the SAPI Reserve in the Mid-Zambezi, Zimbabwe.
Why protect the Mid-Zambezi landscape?
SAPI Reserve forms part of the greater Mid-Zambezi landscape, connected to Mana Pools National Park, the wider Lower Zambezi-Mana Pools Transfrontier Conservation Area (TFCA) and the Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Zambia (ZIMOZA) TFCA. Its floodplains and miombo woodlands provide vital habitat and movement corridors for elephants, lions, leopards and African painted dogs, and more, making it an important landscape for biodiversity recovery.
