Great Plains Okavango - Wildlife Ranger Challenge 2026
Support the Great Plains Okavango Team (Botswana) Support our Wildlife Rangers as they continue protecting the critical ecosystem and UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Okavango Delta, and the extraordinary biodiversity that call it home.
Why protect the Okavango Delta?
The Okavango Delta and Linyanti ecosystems form part of one of Africa’s last great intact wilderness systems, where seasonal floodwaters shape a dynamic landscape of channels, floodplains, grasslands and woodlands. Situated within the Kavango-Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area (KAZA TFCA), these connected habitats support globally significant populations of elephants, African painted dogs, rhinos, large predators and countless other species that depend on the freedom to move across the landscape.
