The Okavango Delta
The Okavango Delta and Linyanti ecosystems form part of one of Africa’s last great intact wilderness systems, where seasonal floodwaters shape a dynamic landscape of channels, floodplains, grasslands and woodlands. Situated within the Kavango-Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area (KAZA TFCA), these connected habitats support globally significant populations of elephants, African painted dogs, rhinos, large predators and countless other species that depend on the freedom to move across the landscape.
How your support helps
Funds raised through the Wildlife Ranger Challenge will directly support our Wildlife Ranger Programme in Botswana, helping us strengthen and grow our ranger teams across the Okavango Delta and Linyanti landscapes. Contributions will support wellbeing, essential field equipment, further technical training and team development, as well as operational capacity, enabling our teams to continue to be responsive to emerging conservation needs and better equipped to protect wildlife and these important ecosystems.
