About the College

The Southern African Wildlife College (SAWC) is a leading training institution dedicated to the protection of Africa's natural heritage. For over 25 years, we have been at the forefront of conservation education, providing a wide range of courses that empower rangers and conservation professionals.

Our mission is to ensure that the people on the front lines have the skills, knowledge, and courage to tackle the complex challenges facing wildlife today. We don't just teach theory; we provide practical, hands-on training that prepares our students for real-world scenarios. Our programs cover everything from anti-poaching and canine unit handling to community engagement and advanced leadership.

By training these heroes, we are directly contributing to the preservation of biodiversity, the fight against wildlife crime, and the upliftment of local communities. Our graduates go on to work in some of the most challenging and critical conservation areas across the continent, making a tangible difference every single day.

The Wildlife Ranger Challenge is a testament to the dedication of these brave men and women. By supporting our team, you are not just helping them win a race; you are investing in the future of conservation and ensuring that those who put their lives on the line have the tools they need to succeed.
