"The Kidepo Lionhearts" - Running our socks off for our Wildlife Rangers - 16th September
Three elite lionesses, Anais, Alice and Lafelle are joined by a tired old lion, Marcus - who they will be dragging around for 21 kilometres in the rough terrain & wilderness that is Murchison Falls National Park (Uganda) on 16th September 2023 - BUT WHY?
We are the Kidepo Lionhearts!
We're running 21km in the Wildlife Ranger Challenge (on 16th September), a global event uniting over 100 ranger teams across Africa to raise vital funds for Uganda Conservation Foundation (UCF), in their fight to protect many of the most endangered species in Africa.
Meet the feline team: Alice Brookes, Lafelle (Tsz Kwan Chu), Anais Grivot, Marcus Warry -and find out more about us, and our roaring mission for Kidepo Valley National Park here:
Every pound, dollar, euro will help us to hit our $2,000 target.
Please leave a comment to encourage us - running in this heat is hard - and Kampala has no parks or pavements - actually running in the national park amongst the buffalo and elephant might be easier!!
Thank you for your support!
Alice, Lafelle, Anais & Marcus
Well Done Lafelle and Team!
Good luck enjoy the run
