My story
Rangers are Africa’s unsung heroes. They hold diverse roles as conservationists, teachers, community support workers, leaders and much more.
The Wildlife Ranger Challenge, organised by Tusk, is a celebration of solidarity, connection and camaraderie for the ranger profession. Culminating on 21st September 2024, the campaign raises vital funds for Africa's biodiversity guardians.
Give today and the Scheinberg Relief Fund will match every dollar donated, amplifying your impact. Join us in speaking up #ForWildlifeRangers

160.00 km coveredWalking to raise money for rangers
Aug 4, 2024, 3:35:01 PMFinally after 17 separate days of walking my global ranger challenge is complete 😀. In an attempt to raise money for the Black Mambas , the first all female anti poaching unit in the world managed by Transfrontier Africa based in Olifants West nature reserve in South Africa I yomped in South Africa in a big five area accompanied by the Black Mambas themselves , Rome, Sicily and Sorrento in Italy ,Cantabria in Northern Spain, Oslo in Norway ,Gothenburg ,Vrango island Stockholm and Uppsala in Sweden, Turku, Selli and Nagu island and Helsinki in Finland and finally on the Green Chain Walk in Plumstead, London ( my home town) . I set myself a target of 160km( 100miles ) by the end of the year and have exceeded that in just over a month - 161.6km ( 101miles)🎉🎉🎉. Now its time to open those wallets and pledge a donation in recognition of the great conservation work they do in their never ending fight against poaching and protecting our environment on the link below. https://wildlife.rangerchallenge.org/campaigns/transfrontier-africa-team-2024
